Granite is
an igneous rock made from magma, taking millions of years to
form. It is part of the Earth’s continental crust. Huge rocks
near the Earth’s core melt and form magma. As this magma rises
and cools it crystallises, forming granite. The process is so
slow that granite retains its crystallised appearance.
Natural
stone is hard wearing, beautiful and timeless. It has a
luxurious look and feel and yet is easy to maintain. Especially
when used in bathrooms and kitchens, natural stone outshines
manmade ceramic tiles which are scratched and stained in the
creation process and are much less durable. Natural stone is
also wonderful at heat transference and retains heat for long
periods.
We specialise in worktops for kitchens
and bathrooms, as established stonemasons however we can also
supply natural stone flooring, tiles, splash backs, chopping
boards and memorial stones, see our related sites for more
information about our full range of products and services
